This is day 3 of being at home. The snow started here on Tuesday and it just continued to fall for about 24 hours. I think when all was said and done we had about 18" of fresh snow.
We live VERY rural, about 7 miles from the nearest small town. We stocked up on some groceries and just have hunkered down at home. It's beautiful.... I love country living.

The kids had the day off school yesterday--they were in and out all day and LOTS of hot chocolate and dry mittens were given out.
I'm lucky to be home with them--I'm sure if I would have had to try to get out of our 1/4 mile driveway I probably wouldn't think it was nearly as gorgeous.
