It is Afternoon Tea! I had a WHOLE package of it and I thought rather than it sit dusty in my stampin' room, I would use it up. It sure is pretty even after 5 years of sitting on my paper hoarder. :)
I made a dozen of these cards today. I even had some Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon from a ribbon share I did w/ my sister in law, Julie. Thanks, Julie! :)
I did; however, sell my Groovy Guava supplies--I was kicking myself for that when I found this DSP. Now I know why I keep everything--just in case! I made a Calypso Coral butterfly instead. It worked. LOL The stamp set is also retired is came out in 2006--Warmest Regards. I love the font.
What have you been hoarding? Do you keep your old dsp, cardstock and stamp sets?
I would love to hear that I'm not the only hoarder around. :)

Now, I have to hurry back to my Stampin' Room to see what else I can make w/ this dsp before Evan wakes up from his nap.
I hope you get a chance to stamp today too.
Wendy, I do still love that paper but I have it noted in the Occasions Mini 2008 ... I don't see it in the 2007 catty but maybe I am missing it. I recently labeled and made a doc file of all my retired (and current) DSP and single-sided papers - wow, what a bunch I am hoarding. But hey, we won't be able to replace them so that's a good reason to keep them safe, huh!!
ReplyDeleteoops, forgot to say that I love your card! Great use of the paper and the ribbon ... do you hoard ribbon like I do too? Just wondering ....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, but I just had to tell ya, not to feel too bad about hoarding. I still have a couple pieces of a dsp called Sweet from the 05-06 IBC when we still had single sided dsp! As well as some from every pack I've bought since which isn't a whole lot.
