Calorie Free Blog Candy Winner!

"A stamping tip from me--I have limited supplies but one of my favs is the modern label punch. I punch two, one in complimenting color, cut it in half and use it to layer at the ends. So while not a complete double layer, it does look really good."

A lot of you asked what I was doing to lose weight:

#2 If I eat it, I track it.

#3 Measure EVERYTHING even condiments!

#4 Water and lots of it.

#5 Move

#6 STAMP MORE and stay out of the kitchen.  ♥♥♥ this is my favorite!

#7 Join challenges

#8 Keep it natural.  I don't use any weight loss drugs or 'enhancers'.

#9 Sit down and eat.

#10 Put away all food off the counter after eating.

#11 Smaller plates.

#12 Don't keep junk food in the house!

    In August, 2009, my husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. He is off all medicine now, lost about 80 pounds, and we have both learned so much. To support him, I started testing my blood sugar on his schedule, and while I am normal, I have lost 38 pounds by eating to the meter and limiting the "bad" carbs. I also joined a gym, which I am not religious about because I have a bad stomach that keeps me housebound. My stamping room has been undergoing a serious transformation (another story), so I am a pretty busy camper. I have been stamping on my dining room table -- lots of baskets and running up and down stairs. Don't know if any of this helps you, but I have never replied to a blog before. Love your work and I am very particular about the blogs I choose. Best wishes, Nancy B

  3. Great job Wendy!!! I'm proud of you! I love the weight loss ticker, I'm going to have to find one of these for my blog. I'm down about 18 pounds since 1-1-11, I have about 93 more pounds to go. Same as you....111 in 2011. I started a digital scrapbook of my progress and photos of myself, and also a journal book that I keep. My goal is 9.5 pounds a month and I'm ahead of that, so I'm happy. I've lost a total of 24" off of my body and down 2 pants sizes. Whoo Hoo! I'm feeling great, and I'm sure you are too. :) Keep up the great work! I'm in with ya!
