SAS Masculine Card

Once in awhile I decide to be crazy and host a Stamp A Stack. I do 20-24 cards each time (4 cards of 5-6 designs). I figured since I had taken almost a year off hosting events during my pregnancy and the first few months being a mom again-- coupled with the economy, I would have little interest. Well today is the last day that ladies can sign up and I have 18 ladies. That is well over 400 cards I have to cut. :) Talk about getting back in the swing of things!
Today, I designed a masculine card. These are always a hit at my Stamp A Stacks, but one of the hardest cards for me today make. Now I have to cut 72 of them. LOL

Stamps: Sincere Salutations, Inspired By Nature and Nature Silhouettes
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Always Artichoke
Ink: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, brayered w/ Bashful Blue and sponged w/ Not Quite Navy

RAKs

I recently joined the most wonderful group of stampers--LateNightStampers. They are positive, professional and incredibly talented. During the last week, I have received RAKs from two of the members. I am so blessed!
Thank you Robin Perry and Tammy Howell for making my week!

Rachael's Graduation Card

I graduated from the same little high school as
my niece, Rachael. Her card is the Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue and Whisper White card. I love this card! Back in the 80s and 90s, orange was not a
'cool' color and it was almost impossible to find anything to wear during homecoming week to earn spirit points. Orange is everywhere now and for some reason those tacky colors from my school days are now very pretty together. :)

Graduation Cards

This year two of my nieces graduate.
It is so amazing to me that these little girls that were born just a couple years ago, when I was in high school, are graduating. Okay, maybe it has been almost 20 years. EEK! Where does the time go?

Great Friend Butterfly CASE

I loved this card that Pattie Curran shared immediately. It is a perfect card for so many occasions. I knew I had to CASE it. It looked like so much fun to make and guess what!...IT WAS! I loved the way it turned out! Thank you, Pattie! If you would like to see some more of Pattie's work, you can visit her at www.pattiescards.blogspot.com

Here's my CASE. I couldn't decide which color butterfly I wanted, so I added two.

Coaster Scrapbook

My youngest daughter needed a QUICK birthday gift. I love it when it's the night before and I hear, "Mom, I need a present for tomorrow!" I had a couple disposable cameras and A LOT of retired SU! paper. I am a little behind the times and have never worked with chipboard so I decided to challenge myself to use it. (I love it, btw....it I don't know what I was waiting for!)

Here's a VERY QUICK and simple gift for a little girl...

Party Hearty Cupcake Gift Card Holder

I am one of those girly girls that loves pink and brown. When I spotted the Sweet Always DSP in the catalog, I knew it was just the paper for me. I am also a huge fan of sweets--not only when stamping, but also in my diet. LOL.. my waist line shows it!
My 11 year old daughter, Riley-Kate is going to a birthday party Friday night, I think this card with a little gift will be the icing on the cake! ;)

One Sketch Two Cards

Sometimes I need a little shove to create.
So while I was looking through a Cardmaker Magazine and decided to pick a sketch and challenge myself to make a card. I liked the first card so well using the cute dog from Whipper Snapper Designs, I made another using Enjoy Every Moment.

Evan's Pictures

I'm so excited! My friend, Wendy has taken up photography. She has always been incredible with a camera. It shows in her scrapbooks. All I can say is "WOW!" when I look through them. She has an amazing talent. Unfortunately, I don't possess those talents. I was super excited when she offered to take pictures of Evan for me.

She was wonderful with him and spent a lot of time talking and playing with him. I think she would be great at taking children's photos.

After 3 hours and a couple hundred photos, Wendy gave a CD full of beautiful pictures that I will cherish and PERHAPS scrapbook. (I know I should be scrapbooking, but for some reason the pictures keep piling up and no pages are completed.)
