With only one toddler on the diet, it is hard to keep things fresh. I found these canisters at Walmart. They were relatively inexpensive and work well. BUT the thing that I LOVE most about Evan's canisters are the LABELS.
The Oval Labels "chalkboard" are in the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements Catalog. You can write on them with chalk and wipe them off if you should want to use the canister for something else. They were a MUST HAVE at our house. There is no question what is in them and that they are 'safe' for Evan to eat. I also like the fact that they are pretty enough to leave out on the counter. :)
What a great idea for such a good reason. Leave it to SU to solve our everyday problems plus add creative joy to our lives. Hope Evan does well on the diet.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter has autism as well and we've been on the gfcf diet for a year and a half. How old is your son?
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa,
ReplyDeleteEvan is going to be 2 the end of October. We have been on the gfcf diet for about 5 months. I really believe it has made a difference in him. :)
I am gluten free, and I never thought about those Stampin Up labels for this purpose. Thanks...
