Sale a bration FREEBIE!

Today, I made a card using a color that I have never used before.  Granted, you will have to search the card a bit to find it, but I did use it.  I had never opened my Concord Crush cardstock or ink.  If you are a Follower of my blog you know I have struggled w/ purples in the past.  Thank you, Krista for once again getting my outside my comfort zone and forcing me to use purple.  LOL

For my card, I used the Bear Hugs Build a Bear set.  This cute little bear is FREE during SAB.  If you go to the last page of your SAB catalog there is a whole list of goodies that you can get w/ a $50 order.

Did you find the Concord Crush?  I watercolored his rattle Concord Crush--like I said you would have to look for it.  LOL

Birthday Build A Bear

Hi Stampers!
This weekend, I spent most of my time at the softball diamond in the neighboring town watching my daughter play in the 5th-6th grade softball tournament. It's hotter than hot and it was miserable for the players. Our girls didn't do well and ended their season with a loss. :(

Now with softball finished, I can focus on back to school. I can't believe another summer is nearly over. School starts here on September 1st. I will miss the girls when they go back to school and Evan will be lost without them. I don't entertain him nearly as well as the girls do.


Anyway.....It's time for another sketch challenge over at Krista's Card & Things Challenge Blog. It's another good one to play along with. I have had the Build A Bear stamp set for awhile and I have not had much luck with creating anything I liked so I tried again for this challenge. I'm not jumping up and down excited, but I think it's a cute card.
